What actually works in Ibiza

Properties on the north coast (Sant Joan, Es Cubells). Quieter, less party-adjacent. Strict no-substance policy with real enforcement. Founders with lived experience or a credible recovery network. Smaller groups (max 12) and longer minimums (10+ nights).

What kills these projects

Anywhere within 25 minutes of Playa d'en Bossa during high season. The noise alone disqualifies serious sober projects. Operators who pretend their sober space is also OK for 'low-key' party guests. Hiring island-side staff without recovery training.

03 · Founder note

Ibiza is the highest-yield sober coliving market in the Mediterranean and also the easiest to ruin. Every detail of screening matters. I won't advise on a sober Ibiza project unless the founder has lived experience or a clinical advisor on retainer.
